75 Years of Creativity: A Rambert Dance Company Retrospective:
It was 75 years ago when Marie Rambert presented a short ballet, at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, marking the birth of what was to become Ballet Rambert – the most influential force in the development of British ballet. This exhibition, of posters, designs, artefacts and photographs, captures the glamour and excitement of performance, reflecting Rambert's extraordinary creative achievement whilst providing an insight into the day-to-day practices of this famously hard-working organisation.
